ISOAPPLE Safety Guidelines
Before Entering School
● Parents will screen child(ren) for fever and other COVID-19 symptoms prior to arrival each day
○ Child(ren) with a fever in excess of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, or exhibiting other symptoms of COVID-19, shall not be allowed to enter the facility, nor will persons that have exposure to persons known to have COVID-19 during the preceding 14 days
● Parents will provide a cloth mask for child(ren) (If there is no mask, students will not be able to go to class, mask may be purchased at the front desk)
● Parents will teach and reinforce healthy hygiene practices
○ Wash hands with soap and water
○ Don’t put hands/fingers in mouth, eyes, nose, etc.
Preparations at Home
● Parents will maintain Social Distancing with other families to reduce risk
○ Please note that pick-up/drop-off times will be staggered to ensure safety in the case excessive crowding occurs
✧ Entry to school is prohibited (parent, guardian, visitor, etc.) during school hours
✧ Pick-up/drop-off will occur either through drive-through/staff will walk students to and from the car
Guidelines ISOAPPLE is Following
Below are just some of the many important guidelines we are following.
● Staff will clean and disinfect the following before, during, and after each day:
○ Classroom, tables, chairs, and computers
○ Door handles, light switches
○ Any other item/surface that requires cleaning
● Cleaning Crew will clean and disinfect all rooms after each day using hospital-grade solutions and disinfectants in accordance with the CDC’s Guidance for Cleaning & Disinfecting Public Spaces, Workplaces, Businesses, Schools and Homes
● Groups of children will not exceed 8
● Interactions with other groups will be strictly limited
● Staff will follow all Social Distancing and health regulations in effect
○ Wear a cloth mask
○ Wear gloves when serving food or whenever necessary
○ Frequent hand-washing/sanitizing
○ Prepared with disinfecting wipes at all times
● Staff will be advised and approved by the State Health Inspector to ensure all health protocols are met before reopening the school
